Week 22-Black + White

Black and white images have always had my heart.  One of my earliest memories associated with photography was this Ansel Adams print we had in my childhood home.  It was an image of mountains with low lying clouds and it hung on the wall between my bedroom and the bathroom.  Every time I passed that image on the wall, it made me FEEL something.....adventure, love of nature, the unknown...... even as a young child, my imagination was fueled by this image, this black and white story about some mountains in the clouds.  The absence of color is powerful....it tells a different story....it shows the connection and emotion FIRST and lets the details follow.  It was very hard to choose this week's lineup, but here it is.....the good stuff.
